About Woody Smith Hyundai
In 1919 David Smith and his partners opened an automobile dealership in Idaho Falls, Idaho.  Eventually the partners split each with their own automobile dealership.  David Smith opened the Chevrolet dealership in the lobby of the Idaho hotel in Idaho Falls. They had two cars at the time, one to sell and the other to work on. In 1937-38 Albon Smith the son of David Smith and Woody's father moved the Chevrolet dealership to C Street and in 1961 he moved the dealership to the corner of Holmes and North Yellowstone. Woody grew up in the automobile business guided by his grandfather and father. Because of the many years he spent as the service manager he developed a passion for customer service and satisfaction. In 1988 following the family tradition Woody ventured out on his own by opening Woody's Automotive in Idaho Falls.
